Georgia to build largest solar power plant with European financing
The developer of the Marneuli Solar Power Plant (SPP) has secured a loan from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) to cover almost three-quarters of the project cost. The bank stated the new facility would significantly aid Georgia's decarbonization efforts.
